Strawberry Honey Rose Cocktail for Early Spring

Strawberries have arrived and our new and Limited Edition Acqua e Vino Red Tumbler is ready for a seasonal cocktail treat!

This refreshing drink is perfect for easing into longer days and awakening the palate to the bright flavors of early spring. Enjoy as a single serving for yourself or make a batch for others with our Acqua e Vino Carafe.

Strawberry Honey Rose Cocktail

Makes one drink

2-3 Organic strawberries

1 tsp honey

1/2 oz of Elisir di Rose by Santa Maria Novella (can omit)

1 oz Lillet Rosé

1 oz Gin

Sparkling Water (can omit)

Meyer Lemon

Mint, Lemon Verbena, Tarragon, Basil, or other fragrant leafy green herb

 

Method: Chop strawberries and add honey along with Elisir di Rose (if using) with a squeeze of lemon. Let sit until softened.

Once softened, smush the strawberries with the back of a spoon or other utensil, we recommend our Honey Dipper. Leave a little chunky for texture.

Add Gin and Lillet Rosé to strawberry mixture and stir with ice.

Pour into Acqua e Vino Red Tumbler. Add sparkling water and more ice if desired.

Garnish with lemon peel and your favorite leafy herb. Tip: Give the herb a smack between your palms to release its scent and flavor.
