Spatulas from our family of custom-designed wooden utensils — Spatula and Slender Spatula. The large proving perfect flipping and turning (and eliminating plastic from our kitchen repertoire) while the slender is "the cook's secret weapon" with its slimmer profile for agile stirring. These utensils are one of a selection of essential culinary tools that expands on our original Wooden Salad Server and Utensil Holder, inspired by the elegant, minimal designs of mid-century tableware.

These special utensils is hand-carved from sustainably harvested Black Walnut wood by craftsman and woodworker Matija Rižner in Northeastern Slovenia. Matija started handcrafting spoons, cutting boards and other kitchenware in 2012 and went on to formally study woodworking and design. He uses smooth organic lines inspired by nature's forms to carve locally grown fruit woods. His workshop overlooks the Drava River and the green hills of the Pohorje Massif.

Please note that due to the hand-carved nature of this product, each piece expresses minor variations in wood grain, color and dimensions.

Matija Rižner

This spatula is hand-carved by craftsman and woodworker Matija Rižner in Slovenia. Matija started handcrafting spoons, cutting boards and making other kitchenware in year 2012 and went on to study woodworking and design. He uses smooth organic lines inspired by nature's forms to carve locally grown fruit woods.

His workshop is situated in a small village of Ruše, overlooking the green hills of Pohorje in Northeastern Slovenia.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

Permanent Collections offers UPS Ground shipping on all U.S. domestic orders. International shipping to Canada and Europe is available via DHL and USPS.

Orders are processed one time per week, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. All orders ship from Berkeley, CA. Availability of products is not guaranteed. If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. When your order is processed, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number. Residents of California will pay state tax on their purchase.

Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 10-14 days from the order date. For international orders, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside and the cost of the product you have ordered. Permanent Collection is NOT responsible for payment of this duty. Please consult an online duties calculator before placing your order, as this charge could amount to a few hundred additional dollars for which you will be liable. In addition, please make sure your contact details are correct in order for the carrier to make a prompt delivery. In the case the item is not deliverable it is the customer's responsibility to pay any additional fees that occur, such as return and reshipping fees.

HOW TO RETURN

Should you wish to return an item, it must be in unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in undamaged condition and returned within 30 days of purchase. All returns must include original packaging: any boxes, hangers, garment bags, and other packaging materials.

To begin the return process, please contact us at customerservice@permanentcollection.com. We will then email you a return UPS shipping label and a return packing slip for you to mark with the reason(s) for your return. Repackage the item(s) you would like to return and place the prepaid UPS return label on the outside of the box you’ll ship back to us at:

Drop off your shipment at a UPS Store (find your nearest store at www.ups.com) or at any UPS facility.

As soon as we receive your return, we’ll let you know in an e-mail and make sure that your refund is processed within 7 days. It may take up to 14 business days from the date we process your refund for it reflect on your original form of payment.

We reserve the right to deny refunds if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.

ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
