ALICE'S APRON

$165.00

This apron was created with chef Alice Waters of Chez Panisse as part of her ongoing kitchenware collaboration with Permanent Collection.

Designed to be unisex and easily adjustable for people of all shapes and sizes, this apron is sewn in Manhattan from an organic linen produced by Cradle to Cradle Certified Belgian textile house, Libeco. Made in a dark indigo color to withstand stains and frequent use, this apron is a simple, functional, but also very flattering complement to any cook’s kitchen or artist’s studio.

As with all the pieces in Alice’s kitchen collection, 5% of proceeds go toward supporting her foundation, The Edible Schoolyard Project, whose mission is to build and share a national edible education curriculum for pre-kindergarten through high school.

It's 100% linen so wash cold or lukewarm on a gentle machine cycle or by hand using mild detergent. Dry flat or hang dry. Iron or steam if you want a crisp look.
