Permanent Collection

The latest release in our Alice Waters Kitchen Collection, and just in time for festive holiday feasting: Alice's Napkins. Finally, a napkin that is big enough! At 24 x 24 inches, this generous organic Belgian linen square recalls the antique French linens that Alice loves, but—per her request—is made of a beautiful olive-gray that won't readily show stains. Hand-sewn in New York City from supple, tone-washed linen sourced from ultra-sustainable textile house, Libeco, these stone-washed, luxurious napkins will last a lifetime. Sold individually.

As with all the pieces in Alice’s kitchen collection, 5% of proceeds go toward supporting her foundation, The Edible Schoolyard Project, whose mission is to build and share a national edible education curriculum for pre-kindergarten through high school.

It's 100% linen so wash cold or lukewarm on a gentle machine cycle or by hand using mild detergent. Dry flat or hang dry. Iron or steam if you want a crisp look.
