This sweet little honey dipper was designed by London-based, German designer Max Frommeld. Following on from a diverse series of glass spoons, Max made this honey-dipper with a specific use in mind, alluded to by the honeycomb pattern that textures its surface. Made in London from borosilicate glass—which won't crack under extreme temperature changes like regular glass—this dipper is hard-wearing and can be put in the dishwasher, or stirred directly into a hot mug of tea. As this is a handmade piece, each spoon is unique and subtly different!
Having grown up in Ulm, Germany, a region with a legacy of industrial design and manufacturing, Max has always been interested in making and creative problem-solving, which led him to study—and eventually teach—design in London. He specializes in private commissions, self-initiated projects, and design work for commercial brands. Max is quite literally in the Permanent Collection family—he's married to co-founder, Mariah Nielson.
Please note that the Amber and Gold spoons in this most recent restock are slightly closer in hue than in the spoons pictured. The Gold is a slightly richer, deeper color.
