This refined, subtly asymmetrical, boiled wool coat with luxurious, silk-lined sleeves has a generous funnel collar and belts at the natural waist. Narrow through the sleeve and shoulder, with pockets, Yvonne can be worn open or cinched. While it’s the most feminine silhouette in the collection, the slightly rustic, nubbly texture of the boiled wool gives it the kind of versatility that allows for a day spent half in the city, half at the beach.

The Yvonne coat is named for the French novelist and editor Yvonne Baby (b. ca.1935). She was the cultural editor, and first female editor, at Le Monde from 1970–1986. She is the author of nine books and the recipient of the prestigious Prix Interallié, awarded for a novel written by a journalist.

Permanent Collections offers $15 UPS Ground shipping on all U.S. domestic orders. We also offer UPS 2-day Air for $25 and UPS Next Day Air for $50, for U.S. domestic orders. International shipping to Canada and Europe is a flat rate of $50. Shipping to all other international locations is a flat rate of $75.

Orders are processed the following business day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day. Availability of products is not guaranteed. If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. When your order is processed, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number. Residents of California will pay state tax on their purchase (8.75%). Orders will be shipped via UPS.

Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 10-14 days from the order date. For international orders, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside and the cost of the product you have ordered. Permanent Collection is NOT responsible for payment of this duty. Please consult an online duties calculator before placing your order, as this charge could amount to a few hundred additional dollars for which you will be liable. Orders will be shipped via UPS.

Should you wish to return an item(s), please contact us at customerservice@permanentcollection.com. We will then email you a return UPS shipping label and a return packing slip for you to mark with the reason(s) for your return. Repackage the item(s) you would like to return and place the prepaid UPS return label on the outside of the box you’ll ship back to us at:
