These deceptively simple sandals are the quintessential slide – the pair of shoes every woman wants, but hasn’t yet been able to find. The slight heel provides surprising comfort and support while also imbuing them with subtle elegance.

Because our sandals are handmade in Paris after an original vintage pair marked only with “Made in Italy,” we named our sandals for Pia Colombo (1934–86), a famed 1960s-era crooner of Franco-Italian origin. Compared to Edith Piaf, Colombo worked with Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Brel, and appeared in Jacques Tati’s 1974 film “Parade.”

Leather sandals

Handmade by Atelier Attal in Paris, France. Very slight irregularities in the leather or variations in color are part of the charm of these sandals. Made from naturally-tanned French leather, each pair is a little different and will transform a bit with age and wear.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

Permanent Collections offers free shipping and returns on U.S. domestic orders. We also offer UPS 2-day Air for $20 and UPS Next Day Air for $50, for U.S. domestic orders. International shipping to Canada and Europe is a flat rate of $50. Shipping to all other international locations is a flat rate of $75.

Orders are processed the following business day, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day. Availability of products is not guaranteed. If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. When your order is processed, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number. Residents of California will pay state tax on their purchase (8.75%). Orders will be shipped via UPS.

Expected arrival date for international orders is approximately 10-14 days from the order date. For international orders, a customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside and the cost of the product you have ordered. Permanent Collection is NOT responsible for payment of this duty. Please consult an online duties calculator before placing your order, as this charge could amount to a few hundred additional dollars for which you will be liable. Orders will be shipped via UPS.

HOW TO RETURN

Should you wish to return an item, it must be in unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in undamaged condition and returned within 14 days of purchase. All returns must include original packaging: any boxes, hangers, garment bags, and other packaging materials.

Should you wish to return an item(s), please contact us at customerservice@permanentcollection.com. We will then email you a return UPS shipping label and a return packing slip for you to mark with the reason(s) for your return. Repackage the item(s) you would like to return and place the prepaid UPS return label on the outside of the box you’ll ship back to us at:
