Our unisex Heron scarves were hand-woven on a vintage loom dating from the 1920s. Made in London’s only micro-mill, The London Cloth Company, located in Epping Forest, these special, limited edition scarves are composed of the softest, 2-ply, 100% organic merino lambswool sourced from Britain. Patterned with a subtle herringbone, whose richness of color is only revealed in person, this is the classic scarf you’ll reach for every day. Each scarf is slightly different, a testament to the idiosyncratic and handmade nature of the weaving process.
The Heron Scarf is named for Patrick Heron (1920–1999), among the most important British abstract painters of the 20th century, and a member of the St. Ives School.
