Permanent Collection is a line of objects and accessories based on historical and contemporary originals, offering timeless design pieces for a modern lifestyle. We are a small, distributed team working out of our sunlit Berkeley studio space and from Los Angeles.
We are looking for a part-time contract Social Media/Email Marketing Manager for the months of July through December to manage our email and social media channels. This position is remote and will connect with a team in California. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with experience in developing strategic marketing campaigns and operational knowledge of key social media apps. This person is highly organized and preferably has experience in graphic design and photography.
Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:
- Create, edit, and publish email campaigns
- Create, edit, and publish social media campaigns
- Maintain brand voice, templates, and style guides across all communication channels
- Develop cross-channel campaigns intended to drive traffic to our online store and customer engagement
- Develop, curate and publish content
- Identify social media partners
- Manage marketing calendar
- Review analytics and manage reports
- Collaborate with team to develop marketing strategy
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
- Collaborate with Studio Manager for any interactions that require customer service
Qualifications & Skills
- Direct experience and fluency with Facebook, Instagram, and Mailchimp and, ideally, Shopify
- Experience with Shopify and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong time management skills and ability to balance detailed tasks across multiple apps
- Able to self-direct and work independently
- Collaborative skills with ability to work with a remote team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The position requires a minimum of 12 hours of work per week on a flexible basis. This role will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for managing social media and email campaigns. This is a remote role and must be available to join meetings in Pacific Standard Time.
This is a temporary part-time role on contract and compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience. This is a role that could become permanent part-time. We’ll see how it works out!
