Jake Pschigoda
Jake Pschigoda is a woodworker based in Michigan whose work includes everything from lathe-turned to hand-carved pieces. He was drawn to woodworking at a young age, first learning his way around basic tools and techniques from his father. His focus in woodworking bends toward art as much as it does toward science, and takes cues from the appearance and feel of certain woods, allowing the material to dictate the direction of the finished product. His skills range from large and small woodturning projects to fine furniture and home accessories, as well as to creating custom, one-off projects. His pieces for Permanent Collection are made exclusively with sustainably sourced hardwood.
